Very quickly, I was encouraged to take my work to a pottery show. Much to my surprise, other people saw beauty in it as well. Over these few short years, I've experimented with a variety of techniques, finding that I enjoy traveling my own path. Again, it continually surprises me that others like it too. Today, I entered the Burke Arts Council and saw my work, MY WORK, not only being displayed, but FEATURED! Its just a little unbelievable. Maybe it is beautiful. Maybe I really am an artist.
